Quick Note about This Week’s Brevity
On my writing site, I often talk about Real Life Family Events (RLFEs) or Real Life Work Events (RLWEs) taking precedence over my novel writing. I’ve generally been able to avoid that for this site, but this week got me. It’s late Friday night, and though I’ve identified my five favorite posts, I’m out of time and energy to say anything witty about them.
Yes, I know, that doesn’t represent a significant change. But it does mean that this week, I’m only listing the post, the site, and the author. Apologies to the five sites I listed here — your posts deserved more attention that I could give them!

Actually, I had planned to! I was going to be lavish particular praise on your picks for 9, 8, 3 (especially season 1, as you so thoughtfully called out!), and 2. Especially 2. It doesn’t get nearly the love it deserves.
