How to Build a Series: Dan Da Dan

I can sit here and say that I enjoyed Dandadan. I can describe how I reacted to it; I can talk about how I enjoyed the developing romance between Momo and Okarun. Not only that, but I could even describe what I like about that relationshop. But when it comes time to describing the story craft behind that romance, I’m not a great source. But I know who is: The Overage Otaku on the site Confessions of an Overage Otaku. He not only gives a great description of why that romance works: he included a perfect screen capture to illustrate the energy that Seiko brings to the story. Go see what I mean!

The Ossan Newbie Adventurer, Trained To Death By The Most Powerful Party Became Invincible Season One Review: Two Thumbs Up

How long can anime/light novel titles get? I’m not sure we know the final answer yet, but I know this: the Ossan Newbie Adventurer, Trained to Death by the Most Powerful Party, Became Invincible can stand proud of its length. To be honest, longer titles tend to push me away; or maybe it’s a self-defense mechanism to protect me from a growing backlog. Well, my tactic failed, and this time, it’s because of the glowing review that Getmoreexp gave to the series on the site GetMore XP. Getmoreexp really caught my attention with the description of Rick Gladiatol, and kept it with how he talked about the series as a whole. It’s great to see a character strike a blow against ageism!

Dandadan Season 1 is a Masterpiece

How good was Dandadan, really? We’ve already talk about how the series presents the delightful budding romance between the two leads. Beyond that, just what does the show have to offer? Glad you asked, because I came across this post by Jonah Alexander Hunt on the site Jonah’s Books & Rants. Jonah is the type who can honestly rip a series to shreds if it deserves it. This post proves that he can also lavish precise and energetic praise on a series, too — if it deserves it! And apparently, Dandadan does! Go see if he lauds the aspects of the show that you adored!

Healing Our SOULS and STEALING Our Hearts! RE:Zero − Starting Life in Another World Season 3 Episode 11 [Video Review]

Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- Season 3 continues its run. It also continues to accumulate praise. In this review, Sinh, on the site Otaku Sinh, talks about the eleventh episode. His emphasis is on Priscilla and Liliana and their battle against Sirius. There’s something that Re:Zero does particularly well, and it was on full display in this episode. Not only that, but Sinh described it wonderfully. Head on over to Otaku Sinh to see what it’s all about!

Re:Zero Episode 61 (Season 3 Episode 11) – Analysis + Important Details

Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- Season 3 delivered an amazing level of entertainment this week, even by Re:Zero’s standards. And if you want a detailed and deep dive into the episode, its meanings, and its potential implications, you need look no farther than this post by anicritic on the site Thorough Watch. To say that anicritic’s analysis is detailed is to understate matters. Sometimes, you just want a deeply considered critique of an episode, and this review delivers that — and more!

  1. TCrow, here is my write-up on Kusuriya no Hitorigoto (The Apothecary Diaries) Episode 31 (Season 2 Episode 7):

I’ll have my write-up for Re:Zero up later this evening. It was a much more straightforward episode this time with Regulus’s defeat, but there was also a very interesting detail about Petelgeuse that I believe is important.
