Kowloon Generic Romance Episode 5 Review – Becoming The Absolute Self
Based on posts like this one by ecargmura on the site ARUM JOURNAL, the series Kowloon Generic Romance is weaving a complex, interesting mystery. I can tell not only because ecargmura comes out and says as much. Ecargmura also tries to solve some of those mysteries. That tells me the show is working! My biggest fear right now? I’m worried the show won’t stick the landing. But right now, around the season’s mid-point, the show’s going strong! Fingers crossed it’ll stay that way. While we wait, why don’t you check out ecargmura’s review and see if she’s asking the same questions you are!

Rock wa Lady no Tashinami deshite – Episode 6 – Lilisa and The Prince of Oushin
I would like to see more band anime series. Not idol series, but series featuring bands. Girls Dead Monster from Angel Beats is my gold standard, and there are others. Based on this post by Chikorita157 on the site Chikorita157’s Anime Blog, the series Rock Is a Lady’s Modesty might be a contender. It looks like something I’ll try to binge at the end of the season. Did you see this episode? What do you think of Chikorita157’s coverage?

The Power of Two Plus One: Dandadan
When it comes to me exploring the anime blogsphere on Friday nights, the series Dandadan is like a shiny coin. It’s always going to attract my attention. But what kept my attention was the concept ane execution of this post by The Overage Otaku on the site Confessions of an Overage Otaku. He describes how this series offers its own twist on a tried-and-true trope. Which is pretty much what you’d expect Dandadan! Go see what you think!

Let’s Watch: UMA MUSUME – CINDERELLA GRAY Episode 5 – “What’s Best For Her”
You’d think I’d be used to it by now, but no. I’m still freaked out over how much I enjoy pretty much everything that comes out of CygamesPictures. The latest example is episode 5 of Cinderella Gray. It’s effortless setup and delivery amazed me. Knowing that miss yuri sorcereur on The Magic Planet had reviewed some previous episodes, I hoped the trend would continue this week. And it did! Miss yuri sorcereur nailed the description and analysis of this episode. Head on over to see what I mean!

ヨルフォージャー (Yor Forger)
I enjoy fiction that features strong women. I think it’s one of the reasons I like The Asterisk War and God Eater. When it comes to “strong,” one of the first characters to come to mind might easily be Yor Forger, and for good reason: she’s an absolute monster when it comes to physical combat. But she’s much more than a killing machine with a pretty face. If you want proof, I’d like to offer this post by Myska on the site Myska’s Reviews. This post is a delightful treatment of Yor’s character. Gotta say — I came away from the post with an even deeper appreciation of Yor! See if you agree!

TCrow, I’ll try to get my write-up for Kowloon Generic Romance Episode 6 up by the end of today. I had to look up feng shui since one of the notable players investigating Kowloon brought it up, and I believe it’s actual crucial to understanding why Kowloon can only be seen and experienced by particular people.
Cool! Thanks for letting me know!
Here’s my write-up on Kowloon Generic Romance Episode 6:
https://thoroughwatch.org/?p=144
I talk about how I believe Kowloon may be based on feng shui rather than a real sci-fi concept, speculate on Kujirai B’s cause of death, and talk about the significance of Kudo giving Reiko a goldfish to look after.
