May I Ask for One Final Thing? Review — B+
I think I may have mentioned that I really enjoyed this season’s May I Ask for One Final Thing? Once or twice. At least. And since this “5 Favorite Anime Blog Posts” series gravitates to topics I like, it’s only natural that I pay particular attention to series I enjoy. That’s not a guarantee of selection, of course. It’s like a good tag line — it gets my attention. The post itself has to then deliver. This post by Draggle, on the site Draggle’s Anime Blog, did exactly that and made it look easy. It started with a description of my own experience when I watched the first episode and built from there. Thoroughly recommended if you’re on the fence about this series or enjoyed it as much as I did.

Restaurant To Another World Season 2 Review: A Soothing Journey Of Food And Bonds
Sometimes, you run across a series that feels likes it’s healing your soul as you watch it. There aren’t many of them, but I cherish each one. One of those series is Restaurant to Another World 2. I watched the first season on a fluke and really enjoyed it. It looks like Getmorexp, from the site GetMoreXP, enjoyed the series, too, as he discusses in his review of the second season. What did he like about it? Was it as restful yet interesting as the first season? You know how to find out!

Let’s Watch UMAMUSUME: CINDERELLA GRAY – Episode 23 – “A New Era”
The latest cour of Uma Musume: Cinderella Gray Part 2 is in the can. Enough time has passed for me to say it’s my favorite series of the Fall 2025 season. Not enough time has passed to say it’s my favorite of 2025 — yet. I have a hard time looking past how much I enjoyed a series in the short term; time helps me regain my balance. I really admire writers who can immediately compensate and write a balanced, thoughtful review — like the yuletide sorcerer from the site The Magic Planet. This review perfectly captures what the episode set out to do and how it accomplished it. All in an entertaining and engaging way. Go check it out for yourself!

Leviathan – WW1 But With Robots
If I see someone talking on social media about mech anime, I immediately wonder what Scott (from Mechanical Anime Reviews) would think about what they’re saying. I haven’t met anyone who knows more about the genre. Moreover, I haven’t met anyone more articulate about it! You can easily see what I’m talking about in this review of the ONA called Leviathan. I know that in some circles, it’s fashionable to question the value of expertise. But let me be clear about where I stand on that topic: there is absolutely no substitute for the combination of knowledge and experience. The world’s better for it, just like the world’s better for this review. Feel free to test my conclusion by checking out the post!

May I Ask for One Final Thing: Kung Pow! Enter the Fist
Another review of May I Ask for One Final Thing? Yep! This one is from Dewbond on the site Shallow Dives in Anime. Dewbond talks about what thought worked in the series, and I’ll add the insubstantial weight of my opinion to support his examples! He also pointed out a few things that didn’t work. And you know? He’s right on those counts, too. Still, I thought the show was still enjoyable. Do you know what else was enjoyable? His answer to the question of whether he thought the show was still worth watching despite the flaws! Go see if you agree!

Yeah, May I Ask For One Final Thing really was a great anime this season! I thoroughly enjoyed it. I’m going to have to putter over and see what Shallow Dives thought of it. Thanks for the heads up!
