Demon Slayer Entertainment District Arc Episode 7 – Crying Demons

Quick Summary of Demon Slayer Entertainment District Arc Episode 7

In Demon Slayer Entertainment District Arc Episode 7, “Transformation,” Nezuko’s power-up gave her the means to put Daki in a world of hurt. So much so that Daki realized that she was, in fact, over-matched. The trouble was, Nezuko started to enjoy inflicting pain on her enemy. Then, when she pursued Daki into a building with humans, Nezuko realized that she was hungry. Very, very hungry. Can she stop herself from turning the nearby humans into a meal? Might Tanjirou reach her in time? Is he even conscious? And where is Tengen?

Irina’s Turn to Host!

Just as we did with Demon Slayer Season OneIrina from I Drink and Watch Anime and I are collaborating to review all of the Entertainment District Arc goodness.

Want to read the whole review? It’s on Irina’s site!

I’m not 100% certain, but I think this is a bad sign… Capture from the Crunchyroll stream.

In the previous episode, Daki said that Nezuko’s regenerative ability was greater even than that of the Upper Six. Given the ease with which Nezuko put Daki on the ground, it looks like her regenerative powers aren’t the only thing that’s been super-sized. Nezuko made stomping Daki’s head into the pavement look easy.

But at what cost? Nezuko seemed like she liked having that kind of power. Worse, she looked like she was thoroughly enjoying it. What will Tanjirou do if Nezuko goes out of control? What of the Demon Slayer Corps’ promise to come after if she kills a single human — keeping in mind Tengen is right there to witness everything (assuming he ever catches up with Tanjirou and Nezuko!). Might we be able to see Tanjirou have to take Nezuko into hiding?
