Episode 12: The Kingdom of Science’s Counterattack
In Dr. STONE NEW WORLD Part 2 episode 12, “The Kingdom of Science’s Counterattack,” Senkuu built on the fruits of his father’s platinum prospecting to make nitric acid, which was the key to reviving their friends. But he couldn’t produce industrial quantities of the stuff, so he had to be careful about who they revived. Worse, their enemies were busily breaking up their petrified friends and hurling the rubble overboard! Can Senkuu find a way to retrieve the statues? Or did he just make nitric acid for nothing?
Episode 13: The Medusa’s True Face
In Dr. STONE NEW WORLD Part 2 episode 13, “The Medusa’s True Face,” Senkuu and his team finally assembled Kaseki’s petrified form in their hideout. Senkuu was about to dump the vial of revival fluid on him when Gen noticed something: a section was missing from Kaseki’s back! And they’re fresh out of air tanks! How will they revive Kaseki now? Meanwhile, Ginrou received a summons to an audience with the Master. Will his shaking legs be able to carry him there? What does the Master want with him? And why is Ibara so interested in Ginrou?
Episode 14: Deal Game, Test of Wit
In Dr. STONE NEW WORLD Part 2 episode 14, “Deal Game, Test of Wit,” things seemed to be going well for the Kingdom of Science. They had manufactured a small quantity of the revival fluid, and it had begun to restore their friends. But then Amaryllis brought the news of what happened to Kohaku and Ginrou to Senkuu. He was seriously, seriously displeased. How will Senkuu, Ryuus, Gen, and the rest respond? Especially since they all know they can’t keep their base hidden forever!
Episode 15: Battle in Three Dimensions
In Dr. STONE NEW WORLD Part 2 episode 15, “Battle in Three Dimensions,” Senkuu’s plan for Mozu to disguise himself and attack village guards paid dividends. Senkuu and his team used the time to build the tools they’d need to obtain the Medusa weapon. But all the Science Kingdom knew one thing for sure: Mozu would turn on them as soon as he could. What can Senkuu do to prevent that? Who else should he revive? And why does Senkuu seem to think he’s going to hell?
Episode 16: Total War
In Dr. STONE NEW WORLD Part 2 episode 16, “Total War,” Senkuu hoped his plan prepared the Kingdom of Science for Moz’s betrayal. After all, Senkuu fully understood Moz did not deal with them in good faith. But has Senkuu underestimated Moz? Will Oarashi’s attack give him any time to think about this problem? And where did Gen get to, anyway?
Episode 17: JOKER
In Dr. STONE NEW WORLD Part 2 episode 17, “JOKER,” Senkuu and his team followed the unhinged Magma toward Ibara. The good news? Magma’s gunshots were seriously freaking out Ibara and his people. The bad news? Well, to start with, Magma fired indiscriminately and wasted bullets. The Kingdom of Science was also outnumbered about 30 to 1. Can Senkuu reclaim the gun before Magma wastes all the ammunition? Even if he can, what can his small team do against so many foes? And where is Taiju? Shouldn’t he be back by now?
Episode 18: Flicker of Doom
In Dr. STONE NEW WORLD Part 2 episode 18, “Flicker of Doom,” You Uei had just taken the Medusa device from Ibara. But as he quickly discovered, he had no idea how to use it. Senkuu had revived Hyouga to counter Moz, but Hyouga count not fully engage. His spear seemed clumsy. Moz continually pushed him back. And all the while, Ibara seemed to be recovering from the inexplicable hole through his hand. Has the Kingdom of Science met its match?
Episode 19: LAST MAN STANDING
In Dr. STONE NEW WORLD Part 2 episode 19, “LAST MAN STANDING,” Senkuu had tried to activate the Medusa device to petrify Ibara using his “cellphone.” But, the gambit didn’t work. Now, Senkuu, the man whose idea of a workout including nothing even remotely physically strenuous, found himself facing off against Ibara – the warrior priest. Armed with nothing but a weighty “cellphone” and some miscellaneous vials, what can Senkuu do? Is it only a matter of time before Ibara reclaims the Medusa device and finally turns Senkuu back into a statue?
Episode 20: FIRST DREAM
In Dr. STONE NEW WORLD Part 2 episode 20, “FIRST DREAM,” Senkuu had to decide who to un-petrify first. He followed a logical, methodical process to decide who – including how hungry he was. And though there was a lot of celebrating as more and more of the crew were revived, something became clear. Ruri had not called Senkuu by accident at the end of the previous episode. There was a reason she called – a very specific reason. What’s going on back home? What can Senkuu do about it? And will the revival fluid actually heal Ginrou?
Episode 21: Treasure Island
In Dr. STONE NEW WORLD Part 2 episode 21, “Treasure Island,” Senkuu announced their next destination, and it’s the moon. That is an enormous undertaking, but they can’t even start it yet, because there’s another, more immediate problem: the island is in political chaos. Ibara had misruled in the name of the Master, but at least he was a competent leader – when he wasn’t turning individuals to stone. But now, who would fill the leadership vacuum? Who will ensure that the island becomes an ally of the Kingdom of Science? And just how disappointed will Kinrou be in Ginrou by the end of the episode?
Episode 22: BEYOND THE NEW WORLD
In Dr. STONE NEW WORLD Part 2 episode 22, “BEYOND THE NEW WORLD,” Senkuu prepared to try to revive Tsukasa Shishiou. But there was a problem. The Medusa device was running out of battery! Is there anything Senkuu can do to recharge it? Get a little more life out of the batter? Or will Mirai never get to see her brother alive again?
