Izetta: The Last Witch has begun its run on Crunchyroll. In the first two episodes (Beginning of the War and Scars and Gunfire), we met Ortfiné (Finé) Fredericka von Eylstadt, princess of Eylstadt, as she journeyed to a neutral country. She’s seeking allies to help defend her people against Germanian invasion. We also meet some of the Germanians who are trying to stop her, and we discover who was imprisoned in the large metal tube that Finé discovered on the train. Furthermore, we witness Izetta as she awakens and frees Finé from the Germanians; we see what a White Witch can do against Germanian air power; and we see what Izetta is willing to do to protect princess Finé. In Izetta: The Last Witch episode 6, “On a Quiet Day,” the Archduchess Finé takes advantage of a lull in the combat to let Elvira Friedman and Bianca teach Izetta some courtly manners. Germania pursues technology and other less concrete means of defeating Izetta. Finé learns she wasn’t nearly as stealthy as she’d thought she was when she stole out to eat pie. Major Belkman continues piecing together the puzzle that is Izetta’s weakness. And Jonas comes to understand the harsh realities of state secrets.

In Izetta: The Last Witch episode 7, “The Battle of Sognefjord,”Germania launches a new aircraft carrier to threaten the former Nord kingdom on the Scandinavian Peninsula. Archduchess Finé introduces Izetta to their potential allies in an elaborate and grand fashion. Izetta attacks the aircraft carrier in an attempt to win more allies while Major Belkman builds a more and more accurate picture of Izetta’s weaknesses.

The Izetta: The Last Witch episode 12, simply titled “Izetta,” Captain Basler discovers Finé, Bianca, Sieghard Müller, and Lieutenant Colonel Belkman trying to crash the Emperor’s party. Izetta confronts Sophie with Landsbruck’s existence hanging in the balance. Sophie disclosures the final betrayal that for her, had sealed Eylstadt’s fate. Izetta reveals her final desparate plan.
