In Monster Musume: Everyday Life with Monster Girls Episode 1, “Species 1: Everyday life with a Lamia,” Kimihito “Darling-kun” Kurusu felt very surprised when Kuroko Smith, a Cultural Exchange Coordinator, showed up at his door. She had not called him to schedule an appointment. And she wasn’t alone. Agent Smith brought a cultural exchange student named Miia — to live with Kimihito! She was stunningly beautiful. She also had the lower body of a gigantic snake, which made sense once Kimihito realized she was a lamia. Can Kimihito adapt his home to make Miia feel comfortable? And given that she’s cold blooded, will he find a way to help her get moving in the morning? Or will Miia have to take matters into her own hands – and tail?
Episode 2: Everyday Life with Harpy and Centaur
In Monster Musume: Everyday Life with Monster Girls Episode 2, “Everyday Life with Harpy and Centaur,” Miia felt ecstatic. Kimihito Kurusu/Darling-kun had stood up for her honor, and she wanted to show her appreciation. So she swore she would protect him someday. Too bad she didn’t see Papi fly in and swoop off with him! How long will it take Miia to catch up to them, since Papi the Harpy being capable of flight? Later, Darling-kun tried to shop for groceries. Papi’s small, but she eats a lot! A galloping centaur named Centorea Shianus crashed into him and sent him flying. Fortunately, a steel sign stopped his flight – abruptly. Why was she running? What is she saying about toast? And just what kind of Japanese magic does she believe in?
Episode 3: Everyday Life Under Dangerous Circumstances
In Monster Musume: Everyday Life with Monster Girls Episode 3, “Everyday Life Under Dangerous Circumstances,” Darling-kun had a problem. Three problems, actually. Their names were Miia, Papi, and Centorea Shianus. It seemed that each one of them wanted to be his wife. Being liminals, they are quite a bit stronger than Darling-kun. He was in real danger of being torn apart! How did this come to pass? Doesn’t the inter-species bill prohibit this sort of thing? And how is Agent Smith involved (as in, what did she do this time)?
Episode 4: Species 4: Everyday Life with a Slime
In Monster Musume: Everyday Life with Monster Girls Episode 4, “Species 4: Everyday Life with a Slime,” Darling-kun had almost finished preparing dinner. He turned his back just long enough to tell Papi he would play video games with her after dinner. In that moment, Miia snuck a look into the pot – and found her head enveloped in a slimy globe with eyes! Apparently, a Slime had somehow gotten in, and it almost drowned Miia! It had gone into hiding after Centorea’s had failed to even slow it down. Will Darling-kun, Miia, Centorea, and Papi have to abandon their home? Is there anything Agent Smith can do (of course not, but it would be impolite not to ask)? And just what is the Slime after, anyway?

In Monster Musume: Everyday Life with Monster Girls Episode 5, “Species 5: Everyday Life with a Mermaid,” Miia called a meeting with Darling-kun, Centorea, and Papi. Her goal? To figure out a way to keep Suu safe now that Agent Kuroko Smith knew about her. But before they could make any plans, a team from the government knocked on the door. How did they dispatch a team so quickly, given Agent Smith’s usual turn-around time of forever? What can Miia, Centorea, and Papi do to protect Suu? And why did they forget Darling-kun when they bolted from the house?

In Monster Musume: Everyday Life with Monster Girls Episode 6, “Species 6: Everyday Life of Molting and Laying Eggs,” Miia wanted to impress Darling-kun with her cooking skills. Unfortunately, she should have learned basic cooking skills first, because she ended up burning both of her hands. That meant she couldn’t handle molting on her own. Who can she turn to for help? Later, Papi had a problem: For the first time since coming to Japan, she felt like she was going to lay an egg. But a sleazy director showed up out of nowhere to film the event. Can the household protect Papi’s modesty? Or will they contribute to interspecies relations in a very niche way?
Episode 7: Species 7: Everyday Life With MON and Arachne
In Monster Musume: Everyday Life with Monster Girls Episode 7, “Species 7: Everyday Life With MON and Arachne,” Orcs took over a bookstore. But the human police can do nothing because of the Inter-Species Law! Is this Agent Smith’s chance to shine? The “director” that tried to profit off of Papi’s egg infuriated his illegal house guest, who happened to be Rachnera Arachnera, an Arachne. The “director” made a serious mistake, but he managed to call the MON squad, who tried to rescue him. Now Rachnera is missing, and so is Darling-kun! What does Rachnera want with Darling-kun? Will MON find them in time? Or will Rachnera vent her hatred of humans on Darling-kun?
Episode 8: Everyday Life of Poor Health
In Monster Musume: Everyday Life with Monster Girls Episode 8, “Everyday Life of Poor Health,” Miia reacted badly when Rachnera joined the household. Miia immediately saw that Rachnera had designs on Darling-kun, so she turned to her housemates for help. But Papi and Suu seemed to enjoy the web-hammock that Rachnera made for them, and Mero seemed to think she was some kind of crab. That left Centorea, but even she seemed to accept the newcomer. Or did she?
Episode 9: Everyday Life with a Threatening Letter
In Monster Musume: Everyday Life with Monster Girls Episode 9, “Everyday Life with a Threatening Letter,” Miia, Centorea, and the rest are united against a common threat: Agent Smith! Mero confirmed that Agent-Smith had asked Darling-kun on a date to a maid cafe. But she couldn’t follow any farther because she ran into difficulties. Papi trailed them into an arcade, but she ran into difficulties. Miia and Centorea tried to spy on them in the park, but they ran into difficulties, too. It took Rachnera’s expert skills to find out the shocking truth. Will life in Darling-kun’s home ever be the same?
Episode 10: Species 10: Everyday Life With D
In Monster Musume: Everyday Life with Monster Girls Episode 10, “Species 10: Everyday Life With D,” Agent Smith came up with a plan to flush out the mysterious “D.” That plan involved Darling-kun going out on dates with all of the Monster Girls. First up: Darling-kun hosted a cookout for Suu and Papi, with Zombina watching over them. But with Zombina being preoccupied with the grilled meat, would she even know if a perpetrator showed up? Later, Darling-kun went shopping with Centorea, while Manako stood guard. This time, Manako remained inconspicuous on a nearby roof-top, but Centorea’s full plate armor did more than make a fashion statement. Is Agent Smith’s plan doomed to failure?
Episode 11: Species 11: Everyday Life with a Dullahan
In Monster Musume: Everyday Life with Monster Girls Episode 11, “Species 11: Everyday Life with a Dullahan,” Zombina and Tionishia ran out of patience. They were sick of guarding Darling-kun as he went on fake-dates to flush out the mysterious “D”, so they decided he would take them – and Manako – on dates until the perpetrator showed him or herself. They did not count on the Law of Unintended Consequences. And that was only the start of Darling-kun’s problems!
Episode 12: Species 12: Everyday Life with Monster Girls
In Monster Musume: Everyday Life with Monster Girls episode 12, “Species 12: Everyday Life with Monster Girls”, Lala pronounced that Darling-kun was at death’s door. In fact, she had come to collect his soul. Thinking fast, Rachnera snared Lala and told the others to get Darling-kun to safety. But then Papi crashed him through a sign and Centorea became so distracted by her fantasy that she did not notice she had dragged Darling-kun several hundred meters. And they wondered: is he really at death’s door? And did they put him there?
