Episode 1: Jobless Reincarnation

Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Episode 1 Review – Best In Show

In Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Episode 1, “Jobless Reincarnation,” a thirty-something NEET met his end at the hand of truck-kun. The last thing he remembered was being wheeling into an operating room. Then everything went black. When he opened his eyes, some huge man just picked him up and kissed him. That seemed strange until he noticed that his own hands were tiny. That’s when he realized he’d been reincarnated as a baby. Even better, his intellect and memories were intact! What kind of world will he find after he learns to walk? Will he understand the language? And will they have a replacement for his light novel collection?

Episode 2: Master

Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Episode 2 Review – Best In Show

In Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Episode 2, “Master,” Rudeus Greyrat enjoyed learning magic from Roxy Migurdia. Sometimes, he enjoyed it in ways she hadn’t intended, but she maintained her good humor and tried to steer the amorous little child to more respectful displays of affection. Despite how much he learned, and despite how much confidence he had gained, he still suffered serious flashbacks to his previous life. Saying he had an unhappy childhood would have been an understatement. Will Rudeus ever be able to throw off the memories that shackle him to the past? Will he ever learn the why of some of the norms of behavior Roxy’s trying to teach him, along with magic? Or will he be forever confined to his own house and yard?

Then the biggest of the bullies decided mud wasn’t enough and picked up a large stone. What will Rudy do? Will his own memories freeze him in place? Or will he stop the bullies?
