In My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! X Episode 6, “I Had a Summer Adventure…,” Catarina struggled with her feelings for Gerald. She didn’t know to interpret his kiss in last week’s episode! Apparently wanting to emphasize his feelings for her, Gerald invited her to his estate for a quiet day together. Keith found out and tagged along with Catarina; Alan found out and invited Mary; and before you knew it, Catarina’s entire harem had arrived! Gerald, ever a good sport, accepted the change of plans. As the day wore on, Catarina slipped away to think, still uneasy about the direction her life had taken. First Maria, then Mary and Sophia joined her, and they decided to explore the forest for old times’ sake. Is the story of the ghost in the woods true? And if it is, what will they do when or if they find it?

This episode’s tone started out on a somber note: Catarina seems to finally realize what Gerald’s kiss meant, and she wasn’t sure how she felt about it! The Council of Wise-ish, her tiny inner advisors, was completely divided on the matter. So it was with mixed feelings that she finally accepted Gerald’s invitation to visit him on his estate.
The fact her harem showed up will likely only delay the inevitable: Catarina is going to have to figure out how she feels about Gerald, and by extension, every one of her possible suitors. But before that, she has to come to terms with the ghost that she and oldest friends had searched for when she was young. And as you’ll see, it’s something that even the carefree Catarina has a hard time talking about!
