In the last episode of My Hero Academia Season 4, “His Start,” Endeavor faced off against one of the upgraded Nomu. The creature was smarter and faster than any Nomu he had ever encountered. What’s more, it was intelligent. It showed it could learn from Endeavor’s attacks. And what it seems to be learning is how to hit Endeavor harder and harder!

Meanwhile, the destruction left by Endeavor and the Nomu’s battle was immense, and Hawks had his hands and feathers full trying to evacuate the non-combatants. When some other heroes showed up to offer support, the Nomu swatted them away as if they were nothing. It was only interested in fighting “the strongest.”
