Review of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba Episode 12: Delicatesse

It’s again Irina’s turn (from I Drink and Watch Anime!) to host our weekly collaboration review of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba. If you’re the impatient sort, please feel free to jump right to the full post on I Drink and Watch Anime.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: I won’t mind!

Last week, we got to see Zenitsu in all of his over the top, sniveling glory. Of course, I’m use the term glory very loosely here! This week, Zenitsu is alone with a little boy in a house that seems to be full of demons. Does the boy have any hope of survival? Does Zenitsu?

This was actually one of Zenitsu’s brave faces! Capture from the Crunchyroll stream

Meanwhile, Tanjiro has a confrontation with the boar-head dude (yes, a confrontation with him). Can Tanjiro resolve that conflict so he can engage the real enemy, the demon with tsuzumi drums attached to his body? Will the demon even wait for them to finish?

And most importantly — is Nezuko okay outside, all alone?

Find out what Irina and I thought about this episode on I Drink and Watch Anime!
