Review of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Episode 26: The House of Escher

Can you believe we’re at the end of Demon Slayer’s first season? Irina from I Drink and Watch Anime and I would like to share our review of the 26th episode with you. You can find it here on Irina’s site.

A lot of series more or less wind down in the last episode, but not Demon Slayer! In fact, it seemed to be accelerating. In this episode, we get to see a new side of Muzan Kibutsuji. It is — I kid you not — the most terrifying yet. Not only that, but the events put into motion will likely figure prominently in the near future.

If even the demons are this terrified, you know it’s bad. Capture from the Crunchyroll stream.

That’s not all. You might be surprised to read why Irina says that Naho, Kiyo, and Sumi are “scary.” Those darling little girls, scary? Yep! You might also be surprised to read what we thought about Tanjiro’s meeting with Kanao. We saw the same scene from two completely different perspectives.

Did Zenitsu behave himself? Did Inosuke get his mojo back? Head on over to I Drink and Watch Anime to find out!
