Review of My Hero Academia s4 ep78 – Aftermath

Where does a show go after something as emotionally wrenching as episode 77? Did they manage to pull off something coherent, interesting, and satisfying? Or did the narrative stumble?

Yes, I’m obviously (and rather less than subtly) trying to inflame your curiosity so you’ll read the latest collaboration review between Irina from I Drink and Watch Anime and this site! If you’re ready to check it out, you can find the post on Irina’s blog — it’s her turn to host!

Were we as excited to review this episode as Kirishima, Midoriya, Uraraka, and Asui were to get “home?” Capture from the Crunchyroll stream.

I don’t want to give anything away, but we get to see how Togata is doing, we get to see Gran Torino in action, and we get to witness a home coming that for a while there didn’t look like would happen.

So yes, it’s a transition episode, but it just might surprise you! You can find out for sure by a) watching the episode yourself and/or b) reading our review over at I Drink and Watch Anime!
