What troubled him was that he now had the responsibility of finding an answer for all three young women! Can he find such a response within himself? Fan clubs who would be waiting for them after exams! But Rin had forgotten something even more important: how he first met Sia. Can he escape the fan clubs? If he does, can he remember how he met Sia? And how will Sia’s dad Eustoma react if Sia has to go to remedial classes – and miss out on the chance to bond with Rin?

A secret she wanted to keep from Rin. And only Asa would help her with it. What was this secret? Did it involve blowing up other buildings? And will Rin ever experience a walk outside without being attack by some fan club or another?

In Shuffle! Episode 5, “Where I Belong,” Kaede tried to put on a brave face. She tried to make nice with Sia and Nerine. She tried to deny the feelings that those two were taking more and more of Rin’s time. But it became more and more clear that those two were here to stay. Nerine even prepared a bento for Rin – something that had been exclusively Kaede’s territory. Was there anything Kaede could do to regain some of Rin’s time? What did Rin’s dream mean – the one where he saw a younger Kaede saying she’d never forgive him? And will Sia ever stop hitting people with chairs?

Did that advice pan out? Was Kaede really okay with all this? And will Sia’s plan work out?

In Shuffle! Episode 9, “Survival Swimming at the Beach,” the battle for Rin’s affections escalated. Kaede remained too timid to go on the attack, but there was no way Sia was going to let this opportunity pass. Unfortunately, she didn’t count on Forbesii accidentally giving Nerine good fashion advice. But none of them were prepared for Asa’s very direct, very persuasive approach. But all of that went by the wayside when disaster struck. Can Rin protect Sia in that new world? Will they ever see their friends again? And will Primula ever be able to finish a sand castle without the waves wiping it out?

Sia, however, seemed much less shocked. Has Rin really decided to propose to her? What about the feelings of the other women? And what will Sia’s fan club do to Rin when they find out?

In Shuffle! Episode 11, “Girls of Summer,” Mayumi felt overjoyed to have finally, finally finished her summer classes. She was so excited, in fact, that she ran laughing from the classroom. Her teacher, Nadeshiko Benibara, did not seem pleased. Neither did Rin when she crashed into him in her haste. Put more accurately, she landed on him in such a way he could confirm her shimapan status. At first insulted he did not react, she soon realized she was in no small amount of danger: the other women, including the ridiculously powerful Nerine, witnessed the event. Will Mayumi get out of this unscathed? Will she punish Rin for his lack of reaction?
