In SPY x FAMILY Cour 2 Episode 13, “PROJECT APPLE,” Loid took Yor and Anya to a pet store. Of course, it wasn’t a normal pet store. It sold combat-capable dogs. Loid wanted to protect his family, after all! Anya didn’t like any of the muscular dogs, so Loid found another venue. But then before he got called away. What was so important that he had to leave his family? Will they be okay while he’s away? Will he be okay? And what did that huge white dog “say” to Anya as it walked by the other venue?

It’s got to be hard for Anya. She can hear thoughts that she really doesn’t understand. She can also hear and repeat language that she doesn’t comprehend. Sometimes, it to hilarious effect.
Loid got a summons to meet with his handler. He had to fake a stomach ache to do so. He said he had to find a restroom quickly and that Yor and Anya should meet him at the shelter where for the pet adoption event.
Yor, obviously concerned about Loid’s health, offered to wait. Anya, though, using here telepathy, knew Loid needed time away. So, helpfully, she spoke up.
“Papa takes a really long time when he goes to the shitter to shit, so we should probably go,” she said (05:32).
Despite her language, Loid silently thanked her for the assist.

It’s good to see my friends in SPY x FAMILY again! I’d missed them. And not only are the back – they’re back in top form! Take my favorite moment, for example.
You know how much I adore Yor. She’s dedicated to Anya, she’s ridiculously powerful, and her heart is in the right place – even if her brain sometimes needs a little extra time to catch up! It’s not that she’s unintelligent. She just gives weight to the wrong evidence.
Speaking of which, as soon as “Miss Anya” disappeared, Yor at first thought a dog had eaten her. Of course, she thought this from the rafters where she had leapt to search for Anya. Then she remembered a news report that said kidnappers were abducting young women as wives. That was Yor’s mindset when she heard Anya ride by on the big white dog.
Yep, Anya was riding the dog. This is SPY x FAMILY. What else could we expect?

Why was she riding the dog? Because she had overheard the terrorists planning to assassinate the Prime Minster. So, they were after her. The dog offered to be her steed. The dog’s heart was in the right place. But he just ran around the block. So the bad guys found her quickly. The leader told his underling to slit Anya’s throat.
Yor found them before he could act. I thought I had seen Yor angry before. I was wrong. Her eyes blazed as she kicked the would-be murderer (22:01). He ricocheted off the walls several times. I’m pretty sure he’s dead. And if he’s not, well, he’s going to be in a world of pain.
Serves him right.
As the triumphant Yor held a now-safe Anya, she proclaimed (22:25), “It is far too early for Miss Anya to get married!”
Man, it’s good to have this family back in my life!

This looks so good! I can’t wait to watch it! Hmm, I might re-watch the last few episodes of the first cour before I start the second one, just so what happened in the first cour is fresh in my memory.
