Episode 1: I’ll cherish this for the rest of my life
In The Honor at Magic High School Episode 1, “I’ll cherish this for the rest of my life,” it’s almost Miyuki Shiba’s birthday. Tatsuya Shiba said she could ask for anything, and if it were in his power, he’d give it to her. Can you guess what she asked for? She asked him to spend the day with her! She felt delighted when he agreed, and for a while, they had a wonderful time in the mall. But then Tatsuya got a call from Maya Yotsuba, and one does keep her waiting. Unfortunately, almost as soon as Tatsuya left, a mysterious fire broke out — a magically-ignited fire. And then Miyuki had something else to worry about…
Episode 2: May I join you?
In The Honor at Magic High School Episode 2, “May I join you?“, Honoka Mitsui had been waiting to take her tests to get into Magic High School when she saw a stunning vision whose beauty was matched only by her raw magical power. Of course, Honoka had seen Miyuki Shiba, and once high school started, Honoka wanted more than anything to meet Miyuki. Unfortunately for Honoka, she tripped and fell over her own feet when she tried to introduce herself.
Fortunately for Honoka, she had a kind and understanding friend, Shizuku Kitayama, who tried to smooth things over. But she hadn’t needed to. Miyuki herself offered to help Honoka up. But that was the end of the good news, because the other Course 1 students decided that they didn’t like Miyuki talking to the scrum Course 2 students — which included Tatsuya Shiba. What can Honoka, a new student, do to prevent the school from descending to a civil war?
Episode 3: The Girls’ Detective Club is here!
In The Honor at Magic High School Episode 3, “The Girls’ Detective Club is here!,” Honoka Mitsui and Shizuku Kitayama ran into an unexpected problem. It was freshman rush week, when the older students tried to recruit the best freshmen for clubs. Miyuki Shiba’s position on the student council protected her, but someone had leaked the freshmen’s admission test scores. Having scored among the highest in their class, Honoka and Shizuku were in high — and uncomfortable — demand! Unable to escape the press of recruiters, they felt trapped. That was, Eimi Akechi showed up on horseback and rescued the two. Or was her rescue more of an advanced attempt at recruitment?
Meanwhile, Tatsuya Shiba, now on the Disciplinary Committee, broke up several fights. Some of those fights were among powerful and influential students. Was that why someone now seemed to be targeting Tatsuya, to the point of firing magical bullets at him? What will Miyuki do if she finds out?
Episode 4: Friends
In The Honor at Magic High School Episode 4, “Friends,” Miyuki Shiba grew increasingly concerned that her friends Honoka Mitsui, Shizuku Kitayama, and Eimi Akechi seemed to be up to something. Why were they excluding her? Later, her brother Tatsuya Shiba shocked the heck out of Mayumi Saegusa when he casually asked her about the terrorist group Blanche. She had not known that he knew about them! Mayumi decided to bring him into the conversation about their counter-measures, seeing he knew as much as she did about them. After school, Honoka, Shizuku, and Eimi trailed Kinoe Tsukasa, knowing he had tried to attack Tatsuya earlier. Their good intentions could not protect them from what happened next.

It was all fun and games until one of them tried to stab Tatsuya in the back. Any bets on how Miyuki reacted?

In The Honor at Magic High School Episode 6, “The Nine Schools Competition begins,” First High School students like Miyuki Shiba, Honoka Mitsui, Shizuku Kitayama, and Eimi Akechi prepared for the Nine Schools Competition. They got unexpectedly good news: the men’s team rejected Tatsuya Shiba as their CAD support technician, so he worked with the women’s team instead. The bad news was that Third High School was serious about winning this year, and one of their first year students, Airi Isshiki, had already dismissed Miyuki as a non-entity because her name wasn’t among the Ten Master Clans. How did Miyuki react to the insult? How did Honoka react on Miyuki’s behalf? And what kind of accident put Mari Watanabe out of action?

In The Honor at Magic High School Episode 7, “Arithmetic Chain,” Shizuku Kitayama breezed through the Speed Shooting qualifying round for rookies. Her competition, Shiori Kanou from Third High, likewise breezed through her qualifying round, with one major difference: Shiori’s skill was such that Honoka Mitsui couldn’t even understand how Shiori had it. Will Shizuku be able to counter such a formidable technique? Honoka didn’t have time to contemplate that, because her own event fast approached. She didn’t have Shizuku’s raw magic power. Is there any chance she’ll even qualify? Or will she embarrass herself in front of Tatsuya Shiba and his sister, Miyuki Shiba?
Episode 8: Hell of Ice and Flames
In The Honor at Magic High School Episode 8, “Hell of Ice and Flames,” the rookie rounds continued. Satomi Subaru faced off against Airi Isshiki from Third High. Did Airi’s performance match her limitless confidence? Elsewhere, we learned that one of Eimi Akechi’s skills is moving buildings around. How much did that skill help her in her ice pillar competition? With Tatsuya Shiba’s adjustments to her CAD, quite a lot! Finally, Miyuki Shiba made her competitive debut. Did her opponent even have a chance? Hint: Even Miyuki’s outfit was a weapon.
Episode 9: Because You Were by My Side
In The Honor at Magic High School Episode 9, “Because you were by my side,” Eimi Akechi competed against Shiori Kanou in the Ice Pillar competition. Eimi started with her signature move, which at first seemed to work. Then Shiori showed she had learned how to counter it. What will Eimi do now? Later, Honoka Mitsui had to face Toko Tuskushiin, a water-spirit user, in the Battle Board competition — which takes place on water. Even if Honoka can use her Light Element magic to give herself a head start, how can she compete with someone who controls water as easily as her own limbs?
Episode 10: I Don’t Want to Lose
In The Honor at Magic High School Episode 10, “I don’t want to lose,” Shizuku Kitayama got her wish to compete against Miyuki Shiba in the Ice Pillars event. As the CAD engineer for both of them, Tatsuya Shiba lavished his skill on both of them, and at first, Shizuku seemed to hold her own. But what will happen if Shizuku actually pushes Miyuki hard enough to provoke a serious reaction? Later, Honoka Mitsui competed in the Mirage Bat rookie competition. Will her Light Magic give her an edge?
Episode 11: Brother, good luck
In The Honor at Magic High School Episode 11, “Brother, good luck,” First High’s student leadership concluded that the attack on its Monolith Code team could not possibly have been an accident. But she didn’t know that Eimi Akechi, Honoka Mitsui, and their friends had realized what was up and were determined to protect Tatsuya. Can they do it? Or have they seriously underestimated their foe?
Episode 12: I will fly!
In The Honor at Magic High School Episode 12, “I will fly!“, the First High students prepare for the Mirage Bat qualifiers. The first contestant falls in the middle of the match, which means she had to forfeit. Tatsuya Shiba discovered an official had tampered with her CAD. Even worse, that official had tampered with Miyuki Shiba’s CAD, too! What will Tatsuya do to the man? Will they ever find the body? Or even pieces of it? Later, Miyuki competed in her own qualifying round, after the issue of the CADs had been resolved. What technique did Tatsuya prepare for her — and how much will she impress everyone in the audience when she uses it?

Both trained relentlessly. Will Miyuki’s raw talent win the day? Will Airi’s commitment to her family drive her to victory? Or will the crime syndicate hoping to stem their gambling losses even allow the competition to conclude?
