Episode 1: Visitor Arc I
In The Irregular at Magic High School: Visitor Arc episode 1, “Visitor Arc 1,” other countries had become alarmed at the introduction of a new Strategic Class Magician. This new magician had destroyed an entire naval fleet. The USNA sent a team, led by the lethal military magician Angelina Kudou Shields, into Japan to spy on likely candidates. However, she’s not wise to the ways of Japanese society, and she’s a terrible spy, so Tatsuya Shiba suspected her within seconds of first meeting. However, the hunt for the Strategic Class Magician isn’t their only concern, and it’s not long before Angelina receives new orders. Can Tatsuya fend off the unwanted attention? Can Angelia adapt to her new orders — despite her conscience? Most importantly, how will Miyuki Shiba adjust to yet another attractive woman in Tatsuya’s vicinity?
Episode 2: Visitor Arc II
In The Irregular at Magic High School: Visitor Arc episode 2, “Visitor Arc II,” news about serial murders in Tokyo spread through Magic High School. The murderer had drained 10% of the victim’s blood, yet no mark remained on the bodies. The students were about to learn a lot more about those murders when one of their own. Leonhart Saijou, out on a late night walk, accidentally encountered one of the murderers. Will Tatsuya Shiba be able to protect himself and his friends? What does Mikihiko Yoshida, Tatsuya’s friend who specializes in occult magic, know about the situation? And where has Angelina Kudou Shields been while Saijou was being attacked?
Episode 3: Visitor Arc III
In The Irregular at Magic High School: Visitor Arc episode 3, “Visitor Arc III,” we learn a startling truth: Tatsuya Shiba isn’t perfect! His sensei, Yakumo Kokonoe, can still put his student on the ground! Also, he faltered a little afterward: Tatsuya arrived while Erika Chiba and Mikihiko Yoshida engaged both one of the vampires and Angelina Kudou Shields while she was in disguise as Angie Sirius. At first, Tatsuya was able to block her spells as Yoshida held the vampire at bay. Then, she used some spell he’d never seen before, and before he knew what was going on, she had disappeared — in spite of his best efforts. Learning her brother had been bested, Miyuki Shiba was shocked. Is this end of Tatsuya’s dominance? Does Angelina really have what it takes to stay ahead of him?
Episode 4: Visitor Arc IV
In The Irregular at Magic High School: Visitor Arc episode 4, “Visitor Arc IV,” Tatsuya Shiba unmasked Angelina Kudou Shields. Unfortunately, now that he knew her secret identity, her orders required her to kill him. Before she could try, Miyuki Shiba arrived and saw that someone was trying to harm her brother. The last time anyone threatened Tatsuya in front of Miyuki, it took the authorities quite a while to sort out the bodies (even if she technically left them all alive). Miyuki challenged Angelina right then and there. Angelina is almost as powerful as Tatsuya — will both of them survive the fight? Will the city?
Episode 5: Visitor Arc V
In The Irregular at Magic High School: Visitor Arc episode 5, “Visitor Arc V,” Shizuku Kitayama reported her findings to Tatsuya Shiba and Miyuki Shiba: The parasites had begun to show up just after the USNA conducted some experiments with micro black holes. Fortunately, Tatsuya knew enough about physics to put the pieces together. Events conspired to test his conclusions quickly when a truck carrying a parasite-possessed human entered the school grounds. That truck set off all kinds of magical alarms. Tatsuya, Miyuki, Angelina Kudou Shields, and others converged on the spot. What will they find? Can they contain or destroy the parasite? And how has it remained hidden for so long?
Episode 6: Visitor Arc VI
In The Irregular at Magic High School: Visitor Arc episode 6, “Visitor Arc VI,” Angelina Kudou Shields/Lina had to face the consequences for her failures to eliminate the parasite threat. For one thing, the USNA recalled Sylvia Mercury. For another, Colonel Virginia Balance, Lina’s superior officer, made it clear that she was going to keep Lina on a short leash. Will it be possible for the USNA’s most powerful magician to redeem herself? At the same time, a less impactful but no less dramatic scene played out. Honoka Mitsui and Mayumi Saegusa both wanted to give Tatsuya Shiba Valentine’s Day chocolates. Both had very different motives. How will Tatsuya react to either — if he reacts at all? And how will Lina react to her new house mate?
Episode 7: Visitor Arc VII
In The Irregular at Magic High School: Visitor Arc episode 7, “Visitor Arc VII,” Colonel Virginia Balance wasted no time in changing Angelina Kudou Shields/Lina’s orders. Lina was to immediately cease trying to retrieve the parasites. Instead, she was to either capture or kill the primary target: Tatsuya Shiba. Even though she hesitated for an instant, she acknowledged her orders and began preparations. Does she seriously think she has a chance against Tatsuya? Has it not yet dawned on her just how powerful he is? Or does she have some other plan in mind? Meanwhile, Tatsuya and the others continue their search for the parasite.
Episode 8: Visitor Arc VIII
In The Irregular at Magic High School: Visitor Arc episode 8, “Visitor Arc VIII,” the parasites decide that they don’t like one of their kind inhabiting Pixie, and they make plans to retrieve her. Will Tatsuya Shiba be ready when they do? Meanwhile, Colonel Virginia Balance lamented the failure of her operation, including a very public seizure of her military’s destroyer off of Japan’s shores. What she didn’t know was that her day was about to get a lot more difficult. Are her diplomatic skills up to the task? Is her courage?
Episode 9: Visitor Arc IX
In The Irregular at Magic High School: Visitor Arc episode 9, “Visitor Arc IX,” Tatsuya Shiba knew that more than one organization had witnessed the unusual psychic event between Honoka Mitsui and Pixie — so they could not stick around long. Fortunately, Erika Chiba, Leonhart Saijou, and Mikihiko Yoshida arrived and agreed to handle the parasite prisoners while Tatsuya withdrew. He had no sooner left than Erika, Leonhart, and Mikihiko found themselves under attack. Was the new party another group of parasites? Members of the counter-terrorism organization called Section 3? Another group entirely? How far are they willing to go to incapacitate our heroes? And just why do they want the parasites so badly anyway?
Episode 10: Visitor Arc X
In The Irregular at Magic High School: Visitor Arc episode 10, “Visitor Arc X,” Tatsuya Shiba, his sister Miyuki, and others tried to engage, disable, and seal the parasites. They had made considerable progress when Lina/Angie Sirius crossed paths with them — and simply gunned down any parasite in her way. Tatsuya explained that the parasite used the host’s death to escape, but Lina insisted she had to complete her mission. Finally, circumstance forced her to face the consequence of her decisions. Will Tatsuya and Miyuki be able to protect her? Will they be able to protect Pixie, who the other parasites seem desperate to reclaim? And what will Lina do if she’s forced to admit there’s another foe beyond her — with both Tatsuya and Miyuki watching?
Episode 11: Visitor Arc XI
In The Irregular at Magic High School: Visitor Arc episode 11, “Visitor Arc XI,” Lina/Angie Sirius thought hard about the offer that Tatsuya made during the previous episode. How did she view her role in the parasite affair? Will she accept his offer? Meanwhile, Sakurai Minami sat alone in a normal classroom on the third floor. Or was it a normal classroom? Because a squad of soldiers tried to blow her up with rocket-propelled grenades. When that failed, they tried to burst in through the doors, then the windows. When all was said and done, she stood, again alone, surrounded by death soldiers. Yotsuba Maya, watching via one of the soldier’s body cams, said they’d “go with her.” Just what does that mean? What’s Yotsuba up to now?
Episode 12: Visitor Arc XII
In The Irregular at Magic High School: Visitor Arc episode 12, “Visitor Arc XII,” Tatsuya Shiba, Miyuki Shiba, Honoka Mitsui, and Shizuku Kitayama attended the celebration for the opening of the Tokyo Offshore Tower. The party was on the top floor. Tatsuya had hoped for a quiet evening with friends. Then he saw his aunt’s butler, Hayama Tadanori, and suddenly, Tatsuya knew the peace would not last long. Meanwhile, Kuroba Fumiya and his sister Kuroba Ayako covertly guarded the tower against the expected terrorist attack. They watched two men enter a service tunnel and confirmed their targets were magicians. Then took the two prisoner for questioning. Was that it? Had they really neutralized the threat? Or was Tatsuya right and the peace was going to be short-lived?
Episode 13: Visitor Arc XIII
In The Irregular at Magic High School: Visitor Arc episode 13, “Visitor Arc XIII,” Tatsuya Shiba, Miyuki Shiba, and Minami Sakurai accepted Hayama Tadanori’s request to save the Tokyo Offshore Tower. Tatsuya led them into the depths of the building, but before they could act, a natural Earthquake halted the elevators — and the evacuation. With the terrorists in charge of the control room and the control room being the only place to restart the elevators, what will Tatsuya do? And even if they can get the elevators restarted, what options will he, Miyuki, and Minami have to protect the building — once the terrorists know they’re on the scene?
