The Promised Neverland Season 2 Episode 1 – A Game of Tag

Quick Summary of The Promised Neverland Season 2 Episode 1

In The Promised Neverland Season 2 Episode 1, “Episode 1,” Emma and Ray struggled to lead the children from Grace Field House to… where? The world outside is startlingly different from the grounds of the orphanage. Many of those differences have very, very sharp teeth and, as they find out, are very good at tracking. Can Emma and Ray keep them alive through the night — to say nothing of getting them to a safe haven?

Irina’s Turn to Host!

The Promised Neverland Season 2 Episode 1: Emma hid it well, but she was nearing the limits of her endurance.

Outside the orphanage turned out to be less Nirvana and more the Abyss. Capture from the Hulu stream.

Irina from I Drink and Watch Anime and I are collaborating to review The Promised Neverland Season 2. Given how our reviews of the first season came out, I could not be happier!

This episode picked up just about where the last episode of the first season left off. I’m not sure what Emma, Norman, and the children expected. I’m not sure if they had any expectations at all! But what they found was a world much closer to Made in Abyss than I expected.

And none of them have Regu’s equipment build out.

Can the artist team match the intensity and vital characters of the first season? Irina and I take a look and share what we learned. Please head over to Irina’s site to read our review and let us know what you thought in the comments!
