Of course Raphtalia and Filo made quick work of them, but Naofumi was uneasy. Things took a turn for the worse when a magical shock reverberated across the entire continent, and Naofumi knew his unease had a source – and that source threatened them all.

And even if she does, will she be able to trust them again?

In The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2 episode 13, “Flowers Offered in Recollection”, Naofumi, Raphtalia, Filo, and Rishia bought some flowers and headed off on a day trip. As they traveled, they reflected on their journeys since the Spirit Tortoise entered their lives. At the same time, Kizuna and Yomogi Emarl also looked back on their experiences, starting when Kizuna became trapped in the Infinite Labyrinth. Where were Naofumi and his friends heading? What were they trying to do? And what was so embarrassing about what Rishia remembered Ost Horai talking about?
I just binged the season over about 3 days. Thought it was interesting that the 3 other cardinal heroes were able to take care of the waves while Naofumi was gone. I guess he can go on extended vacation now.
The suggestion that those three might actually be competent is probably the biggest surprise of the second season!
