Tower of God Season Two Episode 19 – Quick Summary
In Tower of God Season 2 episode 19, “ALL IN,” contestants readied themselves for the final battle of this stage. In particular, Ran Khun wanted to finish the business he had started with Anaak Jahad. A lot of other contestants wanted in on that action, too. Who did Aguero Agnes Khun bet on? Who was that mysterious figure who confronted Viole at the end of the previous episode?and will Rak ever find the Black Turtle?
Note: This post may include spoilers, so be cautious.
Favorite Quote from Tower of God Season Two Episode 19
I don’t know – maybe the floating rock (and say – how did a rock float at all?) hit both of them in a super sensitive place on their heads? Weird. Capture from the Crunchyroll stream.
My favorite quote is a gripe and a celebration wrapped into one. Remember how Ran Khun and Anaak Jahad fight in this episode? It felt dramatic, by the standards of his series. Both gave and took serious damage. Both appeared as capable as the walls of Minas Tirith.
Not its gate. We all know what happened with it.
But then Paracule showed up, dumped them in the water, and suddenly they’re both unconscious? What, are they allergic to water? Can’t swim? That just bugged me.
But Paracule’s quote made me laugh. As he emerged into the air, he screamed (13:04), “Revolution!”
Then, as if that wasn’t clear enough, he added, “Long-term!”
I do have to admire the guy’s dedication to a cause.
Favorite Moment from Tower of God Season Two Episode 19
Rak finally found his old friend. Capture from the Crunchyroll stream.
Setup: First, a Couple of Gripes
Two things really bugged me about this episode? Do you mind if I vent them here before I get into my favorite moment?
First, this series has had really bad luck: the previous cour aired at the same time as Wistoria: Want and Sword, which had fantastic fight animation and this cour airs against Dandadan. I don’t think it’s given me a fight scene that didn’t blow me away. Why do I bring that up? Because, well, this show struggles when it comes to fight animation, and that’s disappointing to me.
But I’ll say this: the fight between Ran Khun and Anaak Jahad came across better than I had feared. So I’ll take that as a small victory.
The fight scene was an improvement over what we’ve seen before. Capture from the Crunchyroll stream.
The second thing? We got to see Endorsi in a ballgown for every bit of three seconds. Seriously, would it have wounded them in any great way to extend that scene just a bit? They jumped right to her in a delivery outfit!
I’m just saying that she brought a touch of class to the screen, and I would have liked to have seen more. Adorable little horn and all.
Delivery: Rak’s Determination for the Win!
Okay. On to my favorite moment. I admire determination, and two characters had it in abundance in this episode. Well, several did, but I’m calling out two: Endorsi and Rak. Endorsi changed into a common delivery outfit to follow someone she hoped would lead her to Viole, who she suspected of being Bam. Rak finally got fed up with Khun’s delays and decided he’s go collect the Black Turtle himself. And that’s just what he tried to do.
As circumstance would have it, Endorsi had almost found Bam when Rak did. So Bam’s eventual reunion will be with both of them (assuming the after credits scene was a joke!). But in this episode, my favorite moment belongs to Rak.
I thought it was funny how Rak referred to Endorsi as “Ghost Eyeball Turtle.” Capture from the Crunchyroll stream.
He saw Viole. Instantly, he knew the man he saw was Bam. Rak, this powerful warrior, this near force of nature when it comes to willfulness, teared up (21:16). He hugged his old friend (21:25).
Come on. There’s no way that moment wasn’t cool!
It could have been a little longer. But I’m inclined to take whatever I can get, and I liked this moment. So much so that I called it my favorite.
What did you think of Viole’s conversation with Beta? What were your favorite moments? Feel free to let me know in the comments!

Oh, I totally missed the fact that Endorsi was there in a common outfit . For some reason, I thought that was Yinwa the fire girl. Oops. Anyway, nice post and thanks for the mention. I also loved the moment where Rak found his friend again~
