Episode 1: Facing Cannibal Candy I
In Unbreakable Machine Doll episode 1, “Facing Cannibal Candy I,” Raishin Akabane was a puppeteer from Japan. He traveled all the way to England with his fighting puppet, Yaya, for a very simple purpose: Revenge. He wanted to participate in the Wise Man competition so he could go up against his enemy. The trouble was, his score placed him 1,235th out of 1,236 students. Only the top 100 students got to compete in the Wise Man competition. Is it even possible to raise his score that much? Is there another way he could get into the competition? And can he find a way to keep himself safe from Yaya’s amorous attacks?
Episode 2: Facing Cannibal Candy II
In Unbreakable Machine Doll episode 2, “Facing Cannibal Candy II,” Raishin Akabane confronted his nemesis Magnus, but he only proved what all of us expected. That is, Raishin has a long, long way to go before he can effectively confront Magnus, who can control many dolls simultaneously. Meanwhile, someone has been killing automated dolls by ripping out their magical circuit hearts. Felix Kingsfort, head of student security, asks Raishin for help because he’s a new student and could possibly have been responsible for the previous attacks. Why else did Felix ask him? Can Raishin really help? And will Yaya let Raishin work if he has to interview any of the female students?
Episode 3: Facing Cannibal Candy III
In Unbreakable Machine Doll episode 3, “Facing Cannibal Candy III,” Raishin Akabane rushed to the scene of another doll’s murder, terrified he would find Yaya’s lifeless body there. Fortunately, that was not the case. But what he did find was still not good. Can he and Yaya learn the identity of Carnival Candy? Can Raishin rely on Felix Kingsfort to help him? How about Charlotte Belew? Or are they on their own? And why does Lisette Norden seem to hate Raishin so much?
Episode 4: Facing Cannibal Candy IV
In Unbreakable Machine Doll episode 4, “Facing Cannibal Candy IV,” Raishin Akabane and Yaya arrived just in time to stop Felix Kingsfort and his automaton from murdering Charlotte Belew with the intent to frame her as Cannibal Candy. But the enemy has seriously wounded Raishin and Sigmund, Charlotte’s doll. Is there anything Raishin can do to clear Charlotte’s name? Or will Felix simply kill Charlotte and Raishin and frame them both?
Episode 5: Facing Sword Angel I
In Unbreakable Machine Doll episode 5, “Facing Sword Angel I”, Raishin Akabane and Yaya were in the middle of yet another argument when, entering their room, they found a woman hanging from the ceiling. She had been caught in the rope trap she had tried to plant for Raishin. Who is this strange woman? Why is she hanging in her own trap? And will Yaya calm down long enough for Raishin to find out?
Episode 6: Facing Sword Angel II
In Unbreakable Machine Doll episode 6, “Facing Sword Angel II,” as we saw at the end of the previous episode, Yaya took a mortar shell to the torso. She crashed to the ground and a pool of blood formed around her. Though she survived the strike, only Raishin’s magic could restore her. But he was off on a mission with Komurasaki, and that mission was not going well. As he tried to infiltrate a laboratory, one of the enemy’s automatons sensed him using sonic magic. Can Raishin and Komurasaki evade this automaton? Or has their mission failed, which would likely doom Yaya as well?
Episode 7: Facing Sword Angel III
In Unbreakable Machine Doll episode 7, “Facing Sword Angel III”, Yaya was beside herself with worry. Cherubim had been about to strike her on the battlefield, but Raishin, overcome by memories of his past, shielded her and took the blow. Now, he lay unconscious, barely alive. Will Raishin ever regain consciousness? Why didn’t Cherubim’s strike obliterate Raishin entirely? And what does Charlotte think about all of this?
Episode 8: Facing Sword Angel IV
In Unbreakable Machine Doll episode 8, “Facing Sword Angel IV,” Raishin Akabane and Yaya thought they were in big trouble when Loki and Cherubim showed up to the fight. Raishin was surprised when Loki and Cherubim decided to fight alongside them. But the odds against them were still long, as Loki’s father Bronson poured more resources into the battle. Can Raishin and Yaya still complete their mission? Are Loki and Cherubim really helping them, or is it a ruse? And why is Kimberly letting Frey watch this battle?
Episode 9: Facing Elf Speeder I
In Unbreakable Machine Doll episode 9, “Facing Elf Speeder I,” it appears that Charlotte Belew and her automaton, Sigmund, tried to murder Edward Rutherford, in broad daylight, in front of many, many witnesses. What is Charlotte trying to accomplish? Is it even Charlotte? What does her sister Henri, newly arrived at the school, have to do with all of this? Can Raishin find out before anyone dies? And will Yaya stop harassing him long enough to try?
Episode 10: Facing Elf Speeder II
In Unbreakable Machine Doll episode 10, “Facing Elf Speeder II,” Yaya was frantic with worry. It seemed like Charlotte Belew and Sigmund had launched a devastating attack to murder the headmaster, Edward Rutherford, and Raishin Akabane had been collateral damage! Will yaya ever see her puppeteer again? And if he’s still alive but with Henriette Belew, will she let him live to regret it?
Episode 11: Facing Elf Speeder III
In Unbreakable Machine Doll episode 11, “Facing Elf Speeder III,” Loki and Cherubim arrived to back up Raishin and Yaya in their losing battle against Shin. Unfortunately, not even the speed and might of Cherubim could turn the tide. Shin’s speed put him out of their reach. Even if they get close to striking him, the enormous power of his kicks brushed aside their attacks. With Raishin already seriously wounded (again), what can our heroes do to survive the night?
Episode 12: Facing Elf Speeder IV
In Unbreakable Machine Doll episode 12, “Facing Elf Speeder IV,” Raishin Akabane and Yaya are still in the fight, but just barely. Even with help from Charlotte Belew and Sigmund, they simply cannot gain any advantage over Shin. It might be because he just disclosed that he is a machine doll – an independent version of an automaton that does not need a puppeteer! With Charlotte almost out of magic and Raishin out of ideas, what chance do they stand against such a powerful foe?
